Pole Star Public School organised various activities on the topic Our Fundamental Rights and Duties to spread the Awareness towards our Rights and Duties which are given to us by our constitution through Pledge, Reading of Preamble, etc.

Water is Life, Treat it Right'
Pole Star Public School, Sector-7,Ext, Gurugram organised a special assembly focused on the theme of 'Jal Doot'. The programme followed by a Skit, Nukkad Natak to demonstrate everyday actions that lead to Water wastage & the ways to avoid it. A scientific model on implementation of Rain Water Harvesting technique was described. All students took a pledge to conserve water and encourage others to do the same. 'Save Water, Save Life'

The Investiture ceremony at PPS was a proud moment as badges were pinned and leaders were born. With the Oath taking the auditorium reverberated with promises of integrity and service. The school auditorium buzzed with excitement as the house trophy was awarded to Mars House for their outstanding achievements in school community engagement. In a flash, the event encapsulated the essence of leadership, leaving an indelible mark on all who witnessed it.

Let's celebrate Earth Day - Every Day by caring our home planet. Students at our school celebrated Earth Day with enthusiasm & creativity, highlighting the importance of environmental conversation through various activities like speech, emphasizing the need for sustainable practices & urging everyone to take responsibility for protecting it, a heartfelt poem was recited, to cherish & preserve it for future generations and students performed a lively nukkad natak- Abhirak Shanam, depicting the consequences of environmental degradation. Students of Class IX-X participated in Poster Making Competition following the theme of Mother Earth and showed their creativity using beautiful colours & slogans. Overall, Earth Day served as a reminder of our duty to be stewards of the Earth for a greener & sustainable future. Take care of the Earth, she will take care of you!!!!

"Empower Women, Enforce Justice- Zero Tolerance for Crime."
A programme on crime against women, emphasizing strict action, was conducted by police officers in our school. The initiative aimed to raise awareness among students about the importance and reporting crime against women, monitoring trips, any mishappings ensuring that perpetrators face consequences. Students were empowered by providing them helpline numbers and apps too. "Break the silence, break the cycle - Strict action against crime."

Students from VI-X of Pole Star Public School achieved 1st position in Doha Recitation and 2nd Position in the Play competition organised by IMCTF (Intiative of Moral and Cultural Training Foundation) showcased the artistic prowess of our students but also served as a testament to the power of teamwork and dedication. This theatrical triumph was praised by the judges and appreciated as a hallmark of excellence in their school's cultural endeavors.

The halls of Pole Star Public School echoed with laughter and festive cheer as students, teachers, and staff came together to celebrate Christmas. The students from Nur- V orchestrated a memorable event, spreading warmth and festive spirit. The festivities kicked off with a heartwarming programme where students showcased their talents through Christmas carols and enchanting performances. The poignant portrayal resonated with the audience, reminding everyone of the deeper significance of Christmas. The school radiated with creativity and joy, showcasing the diverse talents within the student body.

"Run For Unity"
Pole Star Public School organised Special Assembly on the birth anniversary of the first Home Minister after Independence and Iron Man of India, Sardar Vallabh Bhai Patel. The programme was commenced with a Speech, Poem on an inspiration life of Iron man. The event was followed by The 'Run For Unity' where unity March was proceeded by students and the teachers.

Pole Star Public School observed Vigilance Awareness Week, a dedicated initiative to instill a sense of ethical responsibility amongst students. The special assembly commenced with informative speech and took "Integrity Pledge" which shared insights on the role of vigilance in maintaining a transparent and accountable society. An Inter-house Quiz Competition was organised to emphasise the need for continuous vigilance in all aspects of life. It served as a catalyst for ongoing efforts to nurture a culture where integrity is not just a deal but integral aspects of our collective identity.

"With the spirit of Dusshera, May we find the strength to conquer the demons of our mind."
Pole Star Public School celebrated the festival of Dusshera with grandeur & devotion, bringing the school community together to commemorate the victory of good over evil. The parents were welcomed with a group song and witnessed the cultural programme. It was followed by speech and a poem to encourage everyone to always choose the path of righteousness in their lives. Dressed as the characters from the epic tale of Lord Rama, our tiny-tots brought history to life. These little embodiments of Rama, Sita, Lakshmana and others truly made the past come alive with their vibrant costumes and joyful spirit. The young talent with the swirl of colourful costumes, danced on the rhythmic beats of dandiya sticks with such grace and energy that their performance left the audience in awe as they showcased their exuberant Garba performance. At the closure of event, the effigy of Ravana was set ablaze & crackling of fireworks filled the air, signifying the triumph of truth, love and compassion over deceit, hatred and greed. Pole Star Public School conducted a 'Walk-In Presentation' (Classes III-V). The students welcomed the parents with a sweet song. The students portrayed their talent by presenting themselves through short plays, activities and presentations according to the subjects. Happy Learning!!!!

PPS celebrated Sports Day on the special occasion of Remembrance Day of our founder Smt. Anita Kataria with a great zeal. The grandeur and enthusiasm of Sports Day reached new heights with the presence of our esteemed Chief Guests Dr. O.P. Kataria & Mr. Kushal Kataria, HCS, Joint Labour Commissioner, Gurugram. The school had the honour of hosting distinguished personalities adding prestige to the event. Various Sports Programmes were arranged for the students according to their levels of strength. Tiny-tots enjoyed their games like Pick & Drop Race, Hoopla Drag Race, Balloon Blast Race, Caterpillar Race, Sack-Race, Zig-Zag Race. On the other hand, seniors participated in Skipping Race, Relay Race, Hurdle Race, Kho-Kho, Kabaddi and Volleyball with strong and energetic approach. The day concluded with a grand Prize Distribution Ceremony. Winners of various events received Medals, Certificates and appreciation of Hon'ble Chief Guests. Academic Excellence Scholarships were also awarded to students from VI-X who consistently demonstrated outstanding performance. The toppers of session 2022-23 were invited to receive their Trophies of positions. The day was a resounding success. It was also graced by the heartfelt blessings and inspirational words of our eminent Chief Guests.

Independence Day was celebrated in Pole Star Public School, Sector -7 (Extension), Gurugram with full fervour. Sh. Sanjay Bhasin, Director Haryana Kala Parishad graced the occasion as Chief Guest. Sh. Sanjay Bhasin hoisted the National Flag to begin the celebration. The students of Pole Star Public School showcased their talent through Welcome Dance, Aerobics, Yoga, Flower-drill, Bamboo drill, Contemporary Dance and Haryanvi dance. Everyone enjoyed the programs immensely. Hon’ble Chief Guest appreciated the students and advised them to become ideal citizens of India. In the end the Principal thanked Chief Guest and parents for their support and cooperation.

The most auspicious ceremonial occasion of the school, Investiture Ceremony was celebrated with zeal, zest & enthusiasm. The student Council members including the House Posts for the session was formed. They were felicitated with badges and sashes by Director Ma'am and the oath was administered by Principal Ma'am & Council Members took the pledge. They were appreciated & advised to be the role models and work for the benefits of the school. Mars House added another feather to the cap after winning a House Trophy for the session 2022-23.

"Save Earth From Population Explosion."
A Special Assembly was conducted at PPS to observe the 'World Population Day'. Students from Classes III-IX presented Speech in Hindi & English, Poem, Collage Making Competition and a short skit which dealt with the effects for the increase in Population. "Let's join hands to control the Population & Save this Planet."

"God cannot be everywhere, so he created Mothers."
A cultural programme on Mother’s day was organized to celebrate Mother’s day on 13th May, 2023. Tiny-tots and children from classes I-II came up with a dance performance to convey gratitude to their mothers for an unconditional love. The mothers as well as the students had splendid time together in various fun games. It is pleasure watching the super excited moms with their dynamic & energetic children during games. Mothers carried back home a little token of love made by their kids which filled the air with warmth of love, gratitude and appreciation. Happy Mother’s Day!!!!

The students of PPS proved this by participating in Bloom School National Olympiad 2022-23 from classes I-VIII and shown outstanding performance. Students won Gold Medals of Excellence whereas some have clinched Silver and Bronze Medals. Heartiest Congratulations to all winners!

Participation is the best way to get Education.' The students of PPS attended the World's Largest Global Climate Clock Assembly & Display Event during its G20 Presidency Year at Indira Gandhi Indoor Stadium, New Delhi. The event was organised by Energy Swaraj Foundation in collaboration with Atal Innovation Mission, All India Council for Technical Education, Council for Scientific and Industrial Research, and other organisations. Prof. Chetan Singh Solanki & Prof. (Dr.) T. G. Sitharam graced the occasion and appreciated the interest of students. The stadium was filled with Climate enthusiasts and conscious individuals who pledged to take actions for Climate Correction. The event was a huge success & marked the beginning of a change towards a sustainable future.

Earth Day was celebrated in our school to spread awareness about conserving Earth. The special Assembly was organised where Tiny-tots showcased their talent through a short skit that explained the students how Earth can be saved from global warming followed by reciting a poem. The different craft activities (I-V), Poster Making Competition (VI-VIII) & Inter-House Slogan Writing Competition(IX-X) on the theme to Nurture Nature.

Baisakhi Celebrations
"Baisakhi is a time to be thankful for the abundant blessings of nature." On the auspicious occasion of Baisakhi, we celebrated the day in the form of special assembly with a speech followed by a short play on Jalianwala Bagh Massacre by a group of senior students. Happy Baisakhi!!!

Farewell Ceremony for Grade X was celebrated in the premises of Pole Star Public School. The ceremony began with hawan and auditorium of school echoed with dance presentation, titles, ramp walk and lunch. The function was ended with the wishes of good luck shared by all for their board exams.

Pole Star Public School observed National Consumer Day. An Inter-House Quiz Competition was conducted for Classes IX-X, Mars house secured the 1st position. It enriched the knowledge of students about the various effective measures under Consumer Protection Act that aims to provide effective safeguards to consumers against various forms of exploitation, such as bad goods or poor services and unfair trade practices. "Be Alert and Ensure Your Rights & Responsibilities."
National Mathematics Day 2022
"Mathematics is the biggest motivation because it starts from zero and goes up to infinity." PPS celebrated National Mathematics Day 2022 to commemorate birthday of Great Mathematician Srinivasa Ramanujan(The Man Who Knew Infinity) by conducting various Maths activities and quiz competition for the students. Happy and joyful learning!
Picnic to Apno Ghar
"Just Education is not enough, children must have sunshine, freedom and playtime." Pole Star Public School organised a picnic to Apno Ghar for tiny tots on 9th December. Indeed it was a great day for all the students and teachers, as it strengthened the bond between the students and their teachers. The kids enjoyed and rejuvenated themselves.
Trip to Rangmanch
Pole Star Public School organised a excursion trip to Rangmanch for the students (Classes III-X) on 8th December which was the most awaited day for the children. Indeed it was a great day for all the students and teachers, as it strengthened the bond between them. The kids enjoyed and rejuvenated themselves.
Constitution Week
PPS celebrated Constitution Week (26th November - 2nd December) with all its solemnity. It was marked by the conduct of a Special Assembly by the students of Classes IX & X. "The flavour of Tri-colour should not be depicted only through our words but also through our actions". This worthy thought was followed by an oath on Preamble taken by the students & thoughts in the form of Speech were shared. A specially designed Inter-house Quiz Competition was organised to enhance the awareness of the students about their constitution.

Pole Star Public School organised a trip to Gurudwara Sahib for Tiny-tots. The main purpose of the visit to accustom the students to seek blessings of the Almighty on the occasion of Guru Nanak Jayanti.
Run for Unity
PPS organised 'Run For Unity' on 31st October' 2022 to commemorate the birth anniversary of the first Home Minister and Iron Man of India, Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel. The teachers & students followed the pledge taken by Principal Dr. Jyoti Sharma. After the pledge, the Unity March was proceeded.
Diwali Celebration 2022
On 21st October'2022, PPS organised a Special Morning Assembly to celebrate Eco-friendly Diwali. Various activities were conducted such as Recitation of mellifluous poems, Pot Decoration, Toran Making, Wall-Hangings & Paper-Lamp Making Competition. Group of students performed Nukkad Natak with a message to save environment. Inter-house Rangoli Competition was conducted with the theme of Green Diwali.
Inter-School Cultural & Creative Activities organised by Initiative For Moral & Cultural Training Foundation
On 18th October 2022, Pole Star Public School participated in Inter-School Cultural & Creative Activities organised by Initiative For Moral & Cultural Training Foundation. The students from classes IX & X participated actively and performed well. They were praised by honorable Jury Members & secured 2nd Prize in the competition. Kudos to all the winners.
Remembrance Day Prize Distribution
PPS celebrated Sports Award Ceremony on the special occasion of Remembrance Day of our founder Smt Anita Kataria. The students were exhilarated for awards. Principal Dr. Jyoti Sharma, with the most supportive member, Mrs. Shubhda Deshpandey distributed the prizes to the winners from Classes Pre-Primary to X, according to their respective fields. The programme ended with the motivational speech and advised the students to work harder in life to get sure success.
Remembrance Day
PPS celebrated 'Remembrance Day' in the honour of our founder Smt. Anita Kataria. Inter-house Competitions like Doha Gayan, Shloka Vaachan, Vaad- Vivaad Pratiyogita were organised for VI-X classes, who participated with zeal and enthusiasm. Honourable Jury members, Dr. Pushpa Dhankar & Mrs. Komal Tivethia were invited and judged the events. They graced the occasion with their presence and motivated the students with their valuable ethics. Winners were appreciated and inspired. The programme ended up with a token of gratitude in the form of planter which was presented by Director Mrs. Jyoti Kataria and Principal Dr. Jyoti Sharma to admirable jury members

It's rightly said that "All work and no play makes Jack a dull boy". Sports activities bring positive opportunities for children. Participation in games enhances child's school accomplishments. Pole Star Public School celebrated Sports Day on the special occasion of Remembrance Day of our founder Smt. Anita Kataria on 23rd September'2022 with great enthusiasm. All the students as well as teachers were very energetic that day. Before commencing the day, Principal Ma'am wished them Good Luck. Various sports programmes were arranged for the students according to their levels of strength. Tiny-tots enjoyed their games like Pick & Drop Race, Funny Bunny Carrot Race, Balloon Race, Caterpillar Race, Sack-Race, Zig-Zag Race. Spell-Bee Competition was conducted in junior classes. Students showed keenness & performed very well. On the other hand, seniors participated in Relay Race, Hurdle Race, Volleyball, Basketball, Kho-Kho, Kabaddi with great zeal. On the whole, matches were quite competitive. The programme ended successfully.
Teacher's Day
The light of the world, the beacon in the dark and the hope that gives us strength to survive, is our Teacher. To celebrate the Teacher’s Day, Pole Star Public School organised a cultural feast. The programme included a thanksgiving song for teachers, speech, Doha-Gayan. Students from class X played roles of their respective teachers and showcased their talent through a short skit, where they presented the major roles of teachers as well as parents in their lives wonderfully. The programme concluded with the wishes and blessings by higher authorities to both teachers and students. w
Janmashtami Celebration 2022
Krishna Janmashtami was celebrated with great pomp and festivity at Pole Star Public School. Dressed as Radha and Krishna, the cute little ones added a traditional touch to the entire celebrations. The atmosphere was filled with the air of joy and festive spirit. The most significant event of the programme was “ Dahi Handi”, in which students played the role of Govindas. This holy occasion brings people together, thus signifying unity and faith. The programme was concluded with the blessings and wishes by dignitaries.
Independence Day Celebration
Azaadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav' was celebrated with dignity and reverence. In the presence of gleeful gathering of dignitaries, teachers, a solemn speech was given. Students participated in recitation of patriotic poems, songs, danced. Tiny-tots played roles of great revolutionaries, a senior group created a scenario of Jalianwala Bagh Massacre through a short skit. Flag Code of India was described to create awareness among them. Everyone was filled with pride and joy. The day long programme left an indelible impression on the minds of the students.
Investiture Ceremony
The Investiture Ceremony for the academic session 2022-23 was held with enthusiasm at Pole Star Public School. The ceremony was administered by the Honourable Director Ma'am and Principal Ma'am. The headgirl and headboy were introduced and they were conferred with badges and sashes. The ceremony was held with zeal and enthusiasm. The student council took the oath to hold the school motto in high esteem. Ma'am congratulated the members and addressed them to be honest, sincere and disciplined. The function concluded with National Anthem.
Inter House Teej Celebration
Pole Star Public School organised an Inter-house Kite Flying Competition and Mehndi Competition on the occasion of 'Teej' for children at its campus. Students participated with enthusiasm. It was a great day with kites and children with big smiles on their faces. Students adorned their hands with mehndi designs which helped them boost their confidence in the art. The zealous participants etched out awe- inspiring creative designs.
English and Hindi Handwriting Competition
Pole Star Public School conducted English and Hindi Handwriting Competition for classes I-II & III-V respectively. Poster Making Competition for classes VI- VIII and Slogan Writing Competition for classes IX-X was organised, in which students displayed their artistic skills. Participation in all the competitions were with great zeal and enthusiasm.
Mother's Day
Mother's love is unconditional. To celebrate this day, students from classes Nur -III participated in the Card Making Activity . Children enthusiastically made beautiful cards using eco-friendly material, dipped their hands and thumbs in their favourite colours and expressed their feelings through wonderful cards and took them home as a surprise to their mothers.❤❤
Orientation Program
The foundation for good parent teacher relationship is frequent and open communication, mutual respect and a clear understanding of what is best for an individual child. In pursuit of the same, Pole Star Public School organised an Orientation Programme for the parents of classes Nur - V to familiarise them with the latest XSEED curriculum and assessment pattern for the current academic session on Wednesday April 20, 2022. The programme commenced with a warm welcome to the parents followed by enlightening the audience with the vision of the school. The session was conducted by the Principal, Dr. Jyoti Sharma. Parents were addressed by showing a comprehensive PowerPoint Presentation. Mrs. Akanksha Juneja, the education coach, XSEED encapsulated the need to encounter the challenges of the new education system and beckoned upon the parents to monitor the progress of their children and nurture their confidence. Parents were made aware about the special efforts made by the school to enhance learning in students. The programme came to a close with a question answer session in which the parents shared their doubts and queries.Parents had a great time during the event.😍😍
Baisakhi Celebration
Pole Star Public School celebrated Baisakhi, the most significant harvest festival with great zeal and fervour. The children came dressed in colourful costumes swayed to the beats of folk music. A lot of theme based activities like recitation of poems, making beautiful kites were planned for the kids with the motive of helping children learn the importance of this special day. The teachers encouraged them to enjoy and respect all festivals.May Waheguru bless you with growth, health and peace on this festival of harvest. Happy Baisakhi!”😍😍


Painting Competition
The aim of the drawing completion is to engage children in a creative exercise to identify their hopes and dreams of the future. It allows complete self-expression and supports their creativity and innovative ideas expressed through art.


Quiz Competition
At Pole Star we regularly organize both subject quiz and general knowledge quiz competition. We believe that Quiz competitions help students test their knowledge in a competitive yet playful and friendly environment. The students then have a better idea of how well they are grasping the material, motivates them to study more and helps them allocate their study time effectively by focusing on the information that still needs more practice.




National Day
We believe that every student should have a sense of national pride. It is very important for children to love their nation because when they love their home and country they would grow up appreciating their heritage, diversity, history and strive to improve India in all aspects keeping this in mind Republic Day and Independence Day are celebrated with full vigor and enthusiasm every year.


Festival
Our school strongly believes in UNITY IN DIVERSITY. Every festival is celebrated with the same vigor and enthusiasm be it Christmas or Diwali. At Pole Star, academic and extracurricular activities are weaved around festivals in such a way that they become a source of learning and personality development for our student. Importance of each festival is taught to students through cultural events that are both fun and creative.
